When you think of FIRST Robotics, do you think of fanfiction? Well, I do, thanks to my friend who decided to show me that :/
Allow me to explain the wonderful FRC fanfiction plot I’ve come up with, inspired by one of many overshipped couples on my team.
Characters
- Todd (I might rename him Andy)
- He’s a build lead on team 9265, the HiddenPIs. He’s hopelessly in love with a member of the programming department, who we shall detail next!
- He struggles with Gender Dysphoria, and wonders what it would be like to be a woman
- Eddy (I might rename him Mark)
- He’s a programming member who loves playing around with prediction and consistency around Match Strategy, one day hoping his skills can help the team with alliance selections. He also has a small crush on Todd/Andy, though it’s not a feeling that he’s explored much.
- He struggles with Gender Dysphoria, and wonders what it would be like to be a woman

Plot
We start on an offseason day near an offseason comp, where Todd/Andy is given the very important task of cleaning the Swerve Modules. He sees Eddy/Mark working on his prediction AI, and against his better judgment, goes over to flirt with him. One botched conversation later, Eddy/Mark is left with much more conflicted feelings about Todd/Andy, and the rest of the story is a secret synchronous race to get it worked out before build.
